Aston Martin, British luxury with an American heart: The legendary 5.9 V12 engine on the DB7 is actually two Ford Duratec V6 engines from a regular Mondeo or Taurus connected together, which were modified by Cosworth engineers. Brand "TAX" (Aston Martin): If you buy original fuel injectors in an Aston Martin box, your wallet will say "goodbye". But since the engine is Ford, the injectors have standard Ford markings (with the series 9F593)
